We provide a full range of construction, homeowner, and industrial equipment rentals with a focus on safety, reliability, and excellent customer service.Position SummaryRental Guys in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dependable Equipment Service Technician / Yard Associate to join our weekday team. This hands-on role involves inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental equipment, loading and unloading customers and delivery trucks, and keeping the facility clean and organized.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining equipment, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and perform basic service on rental equipment (fuel, oil, filters, tires, etc.)
- Load and unload customer vehicles and company delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and facility
- Assist customers with equipment check-in and check-out
- Perform basic operational checks to ensure equipment is rent-ready
- Identify and tag damaged or unsafe equipment for repair
- Support drivers and mechanics with yard and shop operations as needed
- Prior experience in equipment service, yard operations, or a related field preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge of construction or landscaping equipment
- Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery (training available if needed)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
